  The SA Institute for Occupational Hygiene is a non-statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body. They have three professional designations:

1. Registered Occupational Hygiene Assistant (OHA);
2. Registered Occupational Hygiene Technologist (OHT);
3. Registered Occupational Hygienist(OH)
