Established in 1952, The South African Society of Psychiatrists is the only professional body in South Africa that protects the rights; and acts in the best interest of its members. The society aims to promote, maintain and honour the discipline of psychiatry as a medical speciality. We also aim to serve the community by providing information and guidance for those in need of professional help.
