This includes measuring, testing, calibration, verification and other bodies, as well as laboratories which operate in well-defined areas of R&D in the natural and applied sciences.
The objectives of the new National Laboratory Association is to become a truly representative association for accredited and non-accredited member laboratories.
The Neurological Association of South Africa (NASA) is the professional body responsible for representing and protecting the interests of neurologists in the country whilst also building a network of likeminded people who are encouraged to use the platform to express both industry and practice related concerns.
Continue reading →The National Stokvel Association of South Africa is a self-regulatory organisation mandated to represent the interests of the Stokvel sector, as contemplated in Government Gazette 37903. In terms of the Banks Act 1990 (Act No. 94 of 1990), a Stokvel group is required to be a member of NASASA or a similar body approved by the Registrar of Banks.
NASASA is the sole association approved by the Registrar of Banks. It represents a constituency of over 800 000 Stokvel groups consisting of over 11 million individuals, collecting roughly R50 billion annually.
