The Association for Alcohol Responsibility and Education (aware.org) is the alcohol industry’s response to concerns regarding alcohol misuse and abuse. Our initiatives target vulnerable youth and adults (of all races) who are at risk of suffering the negative consequences of alcohol abuse and misuse through targeted on-the-ground initiatives which are aimed at reducing the harmful effects alcohol abuse has on our communities.

Automotive Remanufacturers’ Association (ARA)

With a membership of 8 200, the RMI provides a very effective collective voice that gives members considerable clout in negotiating better trading conditions. As the lead voice in the motor industry, the RMI is a member-driven organisation that constantly seeks solutions to concerns raised by members in the day-to-day running of their businesses. Members needs are serviced through five regional offices, manned by 63 professional staff. In addition, the RMI is the major employer representative of the Motor Industry Bargaining Council, playing a significant role in labour negotiations as well as the industry’s social benefit schemes, dispute resolution processes and exemption procedures.

African Muslim Farmers Association Association (AMFA)

The African Muslim Farmers Association (AMFA), aims to foster unity and goodwill amongst Muslim farmers of Africa in support of the agricultural sector. The organisation was formalised following the first inception workshop held in Newcastle, KZN, on the 20th February 2016. This cooperation amongst farmers has led to Strength in Numbers. AMFA members are involved in diverse fields of farming such as game, livestock, crops, forestry and are farming not only countrywide but also continent-wide in countries such as Zambia and Botswana.

Association of Southern African Aerospace Traders and Allied Industries (ASAAT)

ASAAT exists as a regional representative body for the aerospace traders and allied industries who provide services to the operational, maintenance, training and infrastructure sectors of aviation.

The purpose of ASSAT is to set an acceptable standard for the industry, represent the member organisations regarding legislative matters, create a network of industry professionals and to share knowledge and expertise to benefit the aviation industry as a whole as well as foster common values and collaboration among the members.
