Association of Arts Pretoria (AAP)

AssociationFinder

The Association of Arts Pretoria has been a leading force in the visual arts since 1947. And years later, we continue to enable creative expression and cultivate a love for the visual arts.

SO…WHAT DOES OUR ART ASSOCIATION DO?
In short – we allow the arts to thrive through our active community of artists and art lovers. We also like to exhibit the best works we can find – in all genres. Our exhibition space boasts optimal architectural design – the natural light that permeates the exhibition space allows you to view art the way it was intended. Evaluations and restoration of art works form part of our activities and we host special events like walkabouts, the Potter of the Month-exhibitions and book launches.
On top of that, we are the founding member of the monthly Pretoria Arts Meander and we are deeply involved in art competitions – most notably the New Signatures Art Competition (the longest running art competition in the country).
