South African Institute of Medico-Legal Experts (SAIME)

SAIME is a non-profit institution registered in terms of the Non-Profit Act 71 of 1997. The Company was formally formed in 2016 January and registered with CIPC in 2019 under the registration number 2019/091601/08 to meet the requirements of
SAQA. SAIME has a database of medico-legal experts and healthcare practitioners who are qualified in all medical disciplines. SAIME`s sole responsibility is to provide and source medico-legal experts who inter alia, provide expert opinions, evidence, joint minutes administration, and report writing. These health care practitioners are certified Medico-Legal Experts after completion of the training and they therefore take an oath of code of ethics and professionalism.

South African Nephrology Society (SANS)

Nephrologists have been on the ‘front line’ of the response to the pandemic. Our patients are vulnerable for a variety of well described reasons. Chronic kidney disease, dialysis, transplant status, immune suppression, diabetes mellitus and hypertension are all risk factors for more severe COVID19. These conditions comprise most of our practice. Nephrologists around the country have put their gloves (and other PPE!) on, and have committed themselves to the well being of their patients. Our members embodied a spirit of community, commitment, and co-operation in serving society.

South African Pool Union (SAPU)

SAPU is the controlling body of Pool in South Africa and is affiliated to the All Africa Pool Association (AAPA) which in turn is affiliated to the World Pool Billiard Association (WPA). The objective of SAPU is to encourage, promote, develop and advance all disciplines of the sport of pool played nationally in the Republic of South Africa and any pool discipline falling under the auspices of WPA and which is played competitively by players under the jurisdiction of SAPU.

SAMPEC will also take on a proactive role in encouraging and strengthening the local procurement clause within the new mining charter.

SAMPEC aims to be representative of the full value chain of industry from EPCM’s through to equipment manufacturers, component manufacturers, service providers and logistics.

South African Meat Industry Company (SAMIC)

SAMIC is a quality assurance company which was created by the Red Meat Industry of South Africa to ensure the quality and safety of meat in South Africa. At SAMIC we believe in world class standards of quality audits, inspections and outstanding service performance. The National Department of Agriculture appointed SAMIC as Assignee for the application of sections 3(1)(a) and (b) and 8 of the Agricultural Product Standards Act (no 119 of 1990) with regards to the classification and marking of meat intended for sale in the Republic of South Africa. The SAMIC coordinators operating across the country perform this duty with full commitment to consumers, farmers, abattoir owners and meat traders to ensure always 100% integrity in our product – beef, lamb and pork. It is therefore important that no fraudulent activities will go unpunished and that the playing field stays level.

South African Local Government Bargaining Council (SALGBC)

The broad functions or purpose of the Council are to conclude collective agreements for the local government sector and enforce such collective agreements and to provide a dispute resolution function for the local government sector. This bargaining council is a registered government bargaining council. The SALGBC is established voluntarily in terms of the Labour Relations Act, by agreement between the employer organization (SALGA) and trade unions parties (IMATU and SAMWU). This agreement is contained in the Council’s Constitution (a collective agreement), which is the fundamental governing instrument that regulates the relationship between the employer organization and the trade union parties, to be read in conjunction with the Labour Relations Act.
