The WPMCA was established in 1981 and is affiliated to the South African Majorettes and Cheerleading Association (SAMCA). Through SAMCA we are affiliated to the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) | International Cheer Union (ICU)
Majorette-Sport World Federation (MWF) SAMCA is also affiliated to the ICU (International Cheer Union) and the MWF (Majorette-Sport World Federation) and compete at both federations’ international world championships.

SAPPMA is a voluntary, self-regulating, non-profit association that represents the plastic pipe manufacturers and other stakeholders in the industry with membership comprising most of the major players in Southern Africa. The SAPPMA brand is well known and is recognized by design engineers and customers as additional safeguard against poor quality products. The purpose of SAPPMA is to create absolute customer confidence in the plastic pipe industry and to ensure the long term sustainability of the industry with top quality piping systems.

The Western Province Badminton Association are actively involved in the development of the sport of badminton, and with the support of the Western Cape Government, they have teams coming from Oceanview (many of whom have represented Western Province) and Gugulethu, who provide transport in bringing the players to the hall to practice and play league.

Wildlife Translocation Association of South Africa (WTA)

The WTA is a voluntary association of professional game capturers and associated role-players within the industry. Its members are drawn from both the private sector and the government service. The game capture industry in South Africa has an annual turnover excess of R100 million and provides employment for a significant numbers of employees. The association’s members annually capture and translocate approximately 130 000 game animals.
