The Society of Radiographers of South Africa is a non-profit professional association with voluntary membership. It represents radiographers in all four radiographic categories viz Diagnostic, Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy and Ultrasound. It is open to all radiographers, student radiographers and supplementary diagnostic radiographers who are registerable with the HPCSA, as well as organisations and institutions with a direct interest in the profession of radiography.
Also known as Solidariteit Unie. Solidarity currently offers a dependable service to approximately 140 000 members in all occupational fields, collectively and professionally, and has the passion and knowledge to look after its members interests and to ensure that their rights are protected in the workplace
Continue reading →The South African Institute of Agricultural Engineers (SAIAE) is the body representing the discipline of agricultural engineering in South Africa, established in 1964. All applications of Agricultural Engineering are encompassed by the Institute as a voluntary association for Agricultural Engineers, Technicians and Technologists.
Agricultural Engineering is the discipline which applies engineering principles to agriculture and other bio-based industries, including the management of natural resources. It therefore encompasses aspects of other engineering and scientific disciplines.
SASM is a non-profit professional association dedicated to the advancement of microbiological sciences in South Africa. Its members comprise microbiologists employed in universities, institutes, industry and government as well as student and corporate members. SASM has grown remarkably during the last four years and currently has over 600 members. Eligibility to become a full member of the Society is open to any person who holds at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in microbiology or related field. Students majoring in microbiology are encouraged to sign up as student members.
