Timber Trade Federation of Southern Africa (TFF)
The Timber Trade Federation was founded in 1956 primarily to lobby the government of the day for increase in import permits for structural Softwood.
With the development of the South African Lumber milling industry and the improvement in the quality of South African grown softwoods the Federation supported the development of standards for the product and later adopted, as its main membership clause, that members must be merchants supplying South African grown softwoods
